I’m fascinated by restraint. Or maybe it’s editing? Probably both, depending on how you look at it, but I’m constantly evaluating the things I have: giving away, donating, moving the house around. On and on she goes… I just DO NOT like to have TOO much stuff.
I need to BREEEAAATTHHE.
Lately, I’ve been inspired by pastels. Romantic and soft yet pleasing to work with in both design projects and flower styling, it’s no surprise that I’ve been completely obsessed with this pretty palette. There is something so pure yet stylish about a bouquet of pale pink peonies or a bedroom composed of pastels, each element playing off of one another, ever so cool. Restraint in design is underrated.
So, what’s a girl to do with this rather unusual urge for everything PINK? First off, I’ve been grabbing up every last pink peony and sweet pea I can find for my flower arrangements and sourcing out a new palette for my designs embracing this theme. I’ve also put together a list of some of my favorite finds that I hope you enjoy.
Spring is all about exploration. It is a time to make new roots and to go out and discover your passion. Pursue dreams yet realized; maybe take that relationship further or strike a new business deal? What ever it may be that you are searching for, I hope you take the energy of spring and find it in your next adventure.
